There is also a Paris, Arkansas.

The important thing is she got surprised! She was building up the anticipation of going on a trip to Peoria – anywhere would be just as good as long as she gets out of the house and away from the kids. So Paris would be an absolutely best! And France, not any of those tiny rural towns named Paris dotting all over America.
