Even with the hundreds of channels we have now, they still don’t have such documentaries.

I’m certain death for programming – - if I like it, the network cancels it!

Well, there’s Animal Planet…Someone told me there’s a 24 hr “Dog Channel” but I think they were teasing me. It’s probably better than some of the themed channels out there.

Too bad it wasn’t a 4 part Ken Burns produced documentary miniseries about other dogs, not just beagles.

He would really hate TV today; I cancelled nearly 2 years ago and don’t miss those inane commercials at all. Netflix rules for me!!

Snoopy would really love the Apollo 11 documentary. “Houston, Tranquility Base here, The Beagle has landed”

A note for you history buffs. Apollo 10 was the dry run for the first lunar landing and worthy of note : The command module was named “Charlie Brown” and the Lunar Module “Snoopy”

I’ve always felt that this particular strip was inspired by a real-world event. Waaaayy back in the 60’s, when this first ran, ABC ran a four-hour documentary called “The Africa Project”, hosted by Gregory Peck. My family watched it for an hour or two but that was that.
