Did they mean “backscratcher”?

“Backscratcher” is alright. It’s “lites” that’s got me. But, rarely have I seen perfect spelling from a scientist.
Aside from the label on the box, I don’t see any of the referenced spelling errors. But I want one of those back scratchers!!
