Tarzan is being very gentle, but direct, in his lesson to the self-righteous Lady Millicent. Muviro is being very restrained, too. I’m not sure I’d have their patience with such an offensive creature….

“Humans greatest creation error was the need to ingest living matter for energy. Because of this we can never evolve beyond just being human.”

Get off your high horse. Plants are and were every bit as alive as is/was a chunk of cow or pig.

Wow Tarzan wears a shirt at home for the evening G&T on the veranda. But probably better ways to feed the starving kiddies on the other side of the border than a random antelope.

So we should have learned to eat rocks and dirt? After all plants are “living matter” or were before we harvested them. And I have yet to meet any creature capable of surviving, let alone thriving, on a diet made up entirely of mierals.

actually, eating red meat in particular was, from an evolutionary standpoint, critical to the increase in human brain size and power. Notice that the other primates are primarily vegetarian but lack the human capacity for mental creativity and activity (learning sign language is child’s play compared to building a skyscraper or going to the moon).

While humans have largely failed to properly respect and balance their activity with the environment, a vegetarian diet would essentially have limited human development to that of the chimpanzee or pig at best.

Further human evolutionary development will come from intellectual pursuits, philosophy, sciences and such rather than diet. But reducing the species to the level of grazing gazelle is not the way forward.

PETA = People Eating Tasty Animals ;)

I just went to the store today and tried to hunt down a box of Twinkies but alas, it appears they are extinct. There’s nothing better than to hunt down a Twinkie with a spear (or a fork for you non-jungle types.) Maybe they’ll show up again like the T-Rex in the daily Tarzan strip!.
