There are people who actually use these books to make phone calls on real phones.

How come they still make these books.Because people pay GOOD money for ads in them. My lover used to advertise in 2 or 3 different ones; with that and 7 different phone lines his phone bill was one of his biggest expenses. He still has a listing and all the phones, but does not need to advertise at all. His labels are on all the equipment he’s worked on so still has plenty of work.

We keep one in the car so that we can find numbers when we’re away from home. Very handy and it’s saved us time on more than one occasion.

Some company just dropped off their small yellow pages on our front porch the other day. russell5419 is right, just a waste of paper. It goes straight to my recycle bin. Any company that spends its money on a yellow pages entry is better off having someone put together a simple web page that is search engine optimized.
