I doubt that there has ever been a conflict between the survival of a species and the survival of humans. When there is a conflict, it’s almost always the survival of a species balanced against some minor level of inconvenience for a few humans. Some people just can’t stand to be inconvenienced to an degree at all.

“Twinkie”…I believe that’s some sort of confection. I’ve never seen one, let alone tasted one but with such a ridiculous name I wouldn’t have bought one.
