    Obama finally got smart and quit negotiating against himself. Let the Republicans spell out the cuts they want. Make it clear that vague promises to “put revenue on the table”, must include a higher tax rate on the top bracket.Maybe some of you don’t know this, but the House is actually responsible for working out a budget, not the President. The GOP still think they can hold out on taxes.

    @uncle joe,the frame is inaccurate. no one wants to put a higher tax on the higher bracket, they want to put the SAME tax on the higher bracket than the lower brackets pay. The dems start with accepting the framework the republicans invent we will all lose.
