    Ah, that explains it. Boody simply can’t spell “angel.”

    When the Devil taps you on the shoulder, remember there is always an “angle” nearby to see you through.

    And the angle isn’t up to speed on apostrophe’s.

    At least it isn’t a protractor…. that would make his dilemma take even longer.

    Boody can’t spell “its,” either. But if he follows his right angle, he will end up well….

    @Runar: If anyone else would catch the “it’s”, I’m not surprised it would be you. I’m assuming that your “apostrophe’s” is ironic.

    @SS: Excellent.

    @Everyone: My GF is a school teacher who recently had to complain about a sign the administration had put up telling students “We’re glad your back”.

    To those who complain about my being a nitpicker on grammar, I offer this quote (emphasis mine):

    “I think you must learn – if you’re in any filmmaking – you must respect the single frame. And there are twenty-four of those per second. If you don’t respect that single frame you’re in the same boat with a writer who does not respect a sentence or a phrase or a single letter or whatever. You have to find the smallest unit and you have to love it and believe that one will make a difference. One frame to me will make the difference between whether the thing’s funny or not.”— Chuck JonesIf you like comics and cartoons, you’ve got to take Chuck Jones’ word for it.

    I love todays strip. Somehow I must have missed it the first time around, so even though I am Justin’s biggest fan, for the strip and as a big brother, I don’t see why people get so upset at times about reruns. This one was definately worth rerunning. It’s a re-run deserving of the name classic ;-)

    Boody seems to be “again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angles of our nature.”

    Nah, a Freemason square doesn’t close up; it’s not a triangle (at least not in their emblem).

    I have been a follower of Mythtickle since it’s Comics Sherpa days, and there is one classic I thought among the best, Helen of Troy launching ships. But I will take any classic Mythtickle, they all have wonderful staying power, and the ability to elicite theraputic laughter even when repeated.

    Actually, Boody is lucky—he has three angles to guide him!

    .

    Of course, if he ever tries to get on an airplane, the TSA could arrest him for having an instrument of math instruction. . . .

    .

    I’m glad to know that Boody does have a right angle to guide his moral choices.

    Human proofreaders, that is…the spell corruption routine on my iPad tries to force every “its” into “it’s”.
