The Gilchrist brothers do a neat job of mixing the family aspects of this strip and the beautful Fritzi. She would have looked swell on a B-25 during WWII.

Good call, Fritzi. (Must remember to try a similar tack when my godmother starts teasing me for having a girlfriend)

No. I have women friends and my wife doesn’t mind. She likes them. A girlfriend would be an entirely different matter. Nancy is beingh a pain and knows it.

I have been Fritzi’s boyfriend for many years. She just doesn’t know it yet.

@alleyoopsHey! I didn’t know it, either. I thought I was her only unknown boyfriend.

@Susan NewmanSince when is being an adult childish? Fritzi is being an adult about the situation and Nancy is behaving badly.

When I was little, a boy didn’t dare show any respect for girls or the bigger boys would pull the “girlfriend” card. Then, a few years later, the bigger boys were dating the girls themselves!(Guess they wanted them all for themselves)

To quote Tom Baker’s Dr. Who: “What’s the use of being an adult if you can’t be childish sometimes?”

Personally, this one reminds me of an episode of “That ’70s Show”, where Kitty the mom was teasing Eric the son about a friend of his who was a guy … and therefore a boyfriend.
