Claiming that Obama is NOT the messiah is not bigotry. However, the left isn’t subtle at all about their bigotry.You’ve yet to prove that liberals in general even refer to Obama as a messiah. You and all the other trolls are just plain lying as usual.

I have to give Mr. Lester credit on this one.When I read the story yesterday I didn’t know if Jamie Foxx was for or against the President. Later I read that while we tolerate religious references like that, but in Islamic countries he would be put to death.

It’s only conservatives that think Obama is the messiah, you never actually hear that from liberals. We’ve got our problems with the man. We’re just happy he is a rational, calm, and honorable man who doesn’t buy into the total anti-evidence, anti-science, power-over-patriotism world view that has become the stock-in-trade on the right.

The fact that Jamie Foxx says something stupid doesn’t mean that everyone who supported Obama (or chose not to support Romney) thinks the same thing. Let us not forget how Pat Robertson issued a fatwa on Hugo Chavez on national TV, and that he asked God to kill a couple of Supreme Court justices because he disagreed with their rulings, and they were old and sick anyway. Don’t think most liberals believe that all conservatives believed that either.

With all the really important things going on here, is Jamie Foxx’s blathering any more offensive than, say, Donald Trump’s? Or any more noteworthy?

He wasn’t. He was probably olive-skinned, like most of the Semitic peoples of the middle east.

I agree this was probably satire on Foxx’s part. However, just like Lenny Bruce, just like Andy Kaufman, sometimes people aren’t going to get it. And sometimes it’s better to pick a smaller beehive to taunt. Some of us think jazz is the purest form of music. Others think it’s just noise. I wouldn’t book the world’s best jazz band to Bike Week, or send the Good Old Blues Brothers Boys to Bob’s Country Bunker, for that matter.

I have never heard a liberal call Obama “the Lord” we don’t think he is perfect at all. it’s that Romney was so lame. I Have heard this so often from conservatives and don’t really know why. Rick Warren is no liberal and him saying that it’s blasphemy to call Anyone but Jesus a savior, and it is! Let the atheists do whatever, but I can’t think that a real Christian would say tat even jokingly. So don’t forget, a lot of people thought Obama the lesser of 2 evils. Romney was the one that through the lengthy primaries people usually said His mane was “Is there Anyone?? except Mitt?”
