Burl’ll be just as happy as a pig in slops.

Burl doesn’t really DO anything as it is. Unlike my man who was working today while I was entertained by my daughter and family. We just got back from WWE around 12 (grandson had as a present). I think I’ll go to bed now.

Burl doesn’t work even when he goes to work so what would he have to retire FROM? Yet look at the jealous expression on his face!

It brings back memories of the flea market…. way back when…

Retired couples, living or just traveling in 5th wheels or small motor homes…both silver haired…selling coins or dolls or Avon bottles…

She crocheted these hats…. he always wore one…She had on a short apron with pockets….. put the dollar bills in one pocket, bigger bills in another.

(At least one woman I met made beer can wastebaskets and lamp shades too.)

And they had license plate holders or magnetic signs with their CB “handles” on them…

Absent some sort of miracle, in under two years Bob is going to take the easy way out and leave Sue a widow. She might not even notice. Puppies may come and go but bridge and bunko live on.

Joy has to take Burl to KMart. She’s too moronic to figure out the exact dimensions of the strainer and Burl has to make sure she doesn’t overspend on the “Deluxe” model.

It is dish DRAINER, not STRAINER.

Retire? I’m 60 now. According to my accountant I should have enough money to live out my years if I work unitl I’m 103.

My wife had a friend who put a sign in her kitchen, “Retirement: Twice as much husband, half as much money.”

How fast JOY and BURL have switched back to short sleves…….This is another boring-plain backbground comic setting. I picture an empty chase lounge with 2 foot tall grass and overgrown bushes and a house that BOB needs to paint. ! ! !

My hubby has been retired for 6 years, I never see him, between golf and his workshop I’m lucky if he watches a couple of hours of tv with me. My Dad had one of those hats, only his was 7up cans. My mother was mortified whenever he wore it. Has Burl even gone back to work after his “injury”? When he retires will he notice the difference? I’m guessing NOT.

I’m hoping to convince my lover that he could work as well on all his shop equipment in various spaces around my current house if he moved to AZ. I have a terrible headcold here and een got a nosebleed while out to dinner (too much change in weather this time of year-no wonder my parents spent a few months of every year in PR. AZ is fine for me!
