Someone stole my wifes identity a number of years ago and the IRS took their bank account and used it to pay off what my wife owed them. I pointed that out to them and they just said “so?”
I’ve always loved the idea of Identity Theft….It’s such a weird wording of the concept

Someone wants to steal my identity they are welcome to it. Just don’t try to return it or I’ll sue ya for breach of contract.
