The Republicans have shown a willingness to compromise by accepting Mitt Romney’s proposed tax plan, complete with it’s non-existent details and fake arithmetic, but no further. After all, elections have consequences. We need to get those gerrymandered districts fixed…

The consensus among a few pundits on Sunday talk show was that Congress will create a temporary “bandaid” in December that will delay the fiscal cliff further into next year. I agree with that prediction. Why compromise when you can procrastinate?

Republicans still cling to the hope that they can preserve the tax cuts for the rich by holding tax cuts for the middle class hostage. -See, when you lower taxes on the rich, that’s just the natural order of things. When you have them revert to the previouse level, well, that’s Class Warfare. -And, when you do that, them Job Creators wil stop creatin’ all them jobs that they’re creatin’ these days and we’ll have unemployment.

Let’s see now:the economy is NOT losing 700,000 PLUS jobs per month. In fact, in spite of the republicans best efforts to the contrary, the economy is improving. really no doubt about it.

we are on the way towards getting the robber barons of health insurance reigned in.

we have stopped the hemoraging of our treasure and our young soliders lives in iraq. Hopefully we’re getting the hell out of afghanistan.

we do NOT have troops on the ground in israel, nor are we likely to.

The banking system is NOT on the verge of collapse (or did you forget about that).

i’d say that we have an incredible large amount to show for the last 4 years and 6 trillion dollars, most of which is maintaining bushes idiocy, so as not to shock the system by changing things too fast.

i think our slightly right of center president is doing a fine job. i think he could easily achieve greatness with a teensy bit of cooperation.

but the republicans have bushes and nixons legacy of to improve. they practically say so every day when they accuse of obama of one red herring after another. they need to read the book about the boy who cried wolf.
