Fealty to Jesus Norquist and the religion of low taxation has nothing to do with accounting sense. It’s about manipulating people like Ima to ensure that the wealthiest of the wealthy continue to accumulate wealth by taxation policy rather than merit.
Republicans are experts on nothing. Marco Rubio doesn’t know how old the earth is because he’s, “not a scientist, man.” Republicans just use ALEC provided boilerplate. They even forget to take the ALEC mission statement out of the bill.http://thinkprogress.org/economy/2012/02/02/417488/florida-gop-alec-forget/?mobile=nc
Agree with Ima on this. Too much time sucking up to corporate/union/lobbyist interests to really do the right thing by their oath to the country (with some exceptions). In regards to the Rubio comment, that it was a debate among “theologians”, we have a Congressional representative, on the SCIENCE committee, saying that evolution, etc. were “lies from the gates of hell!” Any guess as to which party?

I hear Al Capone had a real good one. Maybe they could dig him up and get a referral.

The committee just wants to know what the accountant recommends so they can enact laws that bypass all those recommendations!

Well, do you go for thousands or billions? Or is that too hard a choice for you?
