The Toonist continues to be Negative, even after the election is over and it is time for the country to pull together. DIVISIVE.

in this particular comic the assembled Republicans (how many can you name?) are eating CROW.-I’ll take a shot:

Clockwise: Boehner, Bachmann, McConnell, Newt, Paul Ryan, Willard the ChickenHawk and Mrs. ChickenHawk, Palin, John Sununu, and Karl Rove.-Those are my best guesses. The only one I’ve seen even remotely nibbling on the crow was Newt, who expressed real surprise at the election results. -Willard believes it was because Obama gave ‘huge gifts’ to ‘his’ voters. Boehner and McConnell claim that Obama did not receive a mandate and believe they still have somewhat of a mandate to protect the wealthy interests.-Karl Rove still thinks they’ll win when the last ballots are counted. -Bush, Cheney, and Grover Norquist are at the kid’s table and aren’t being served crow.-So far, the only Republicans calling for change are minor players, like Bobby Jindal, and most of the change called for is cosmetic.-Maybe the sentiment for real change will grow, but I doubt it. The Brothers K. have too much of a stranglehold on the party.

“…Yum yum. Had Romney won the libs would be eating crow. Funny how that coin toss goes….”.You think winning an election is a random event? Now there’s a unique explanation!

After four years of doing everything in their power to ruin Obama’s first term, even at the risk of the nation, you have to love how the Rightwing is now calling their critics “divisive”.

Not really a “squeak-by win”. Obama ranks ninth in electoral-vote averages since 1896. By comparison, W. Bush was 15th and H.W. Bush was 13th. I’m surprised you would go with those most flimsy and inaccurate of rationalizations for defeat. Sensible officials within the Republican party are starting to recognize their deficiencies and are looking to make changes..And do you really think cherry-picked stuff from the web is reliable evidence?

Funny, Very funny. I just love the Tea Party guy near the head of the table, hat, teabag and all. And Rove is still looking over his shoulder.
