Don’t people keep the tree up until New Year’s at least? Jan 6 (Epiphany) was traditional at our house, but I’ve never known anyone to take the tree down before New Year

Memories…where would we be without them?

we were told it’s bad luck to leave the tree up past the new year, so it is undecorated

My sister’s tree has been up for three years. We keep adding ornaments to it, and she turns it on at night in the summer. Kind of startling from the street because of the incongruity, but very nice.
