Yeah, such SACRIFICE those two make for the sake of the season. I think I’m gonna barf. BTW, what, pray tell, is today’s Find-It? I see the words ‘Find It’ but nothing to find. Or have I been blinded by the selflessness exhibited by the Pennys?

Maybe the “find-it” is the Penny’s sense of sacrifice. I can’t imagine what a more expensive gift for them would be. Doesn’t everything at the Dollar store cost a dollar? Maybe it means that they actually paid for it rather than regifting or recycling something from last year(s).

Purple…. The words “Find-It” in the upper right corner are probably left over from a previous incarnation of this panel….cos it also says Find-It down in the lower right, with a candy cane.Which I found one of.

And yeah, you really have to admire their sacrifice… just getting expensive stuff instead of piles of junk…

You can tell Joy is afraid… “Not many presents, Burl….” with her piggy little mouth trembling….But they made a deal, he reminds her…. and they will soldier bravely on….It brings a tear to my eye, when I think about how these poor souls are sacrificing, when we can all plainly see how badly these people need more stuff.

Hey….Marg should be getting out …home today…..(if, of course, the world doesn’t end..)

Listen, everybody… if the Mayan thing is wrong and we’re all still here by the time she shows up….

Just act like she really was on vacation, OK?

I mean… she’s kinda sensitive, even though this was by no means the first time….Thanks.You’re all pals.

OK, I just got up, but I saw the 2 find its. I don’t plan to make breakfast until around 9 as his first call is 10 and he’s still running a fever (darned ice skating rink)! @Susan, now that I can post photos, some are too small. I posted a comic from another site yesterday, for instance on “That’s Priceless”. The strip “Rhymes with orange” had a Homage to Frida K.Will that 360 enlarge one like that?I tried !’ url ’ width=360! without spaces and missed the photo, (but it worked fine small).

I never thought of Christmas season as the “season of sacrifice”? I think he got his seasons mixed up, unless he thinks it’s a “financial” sacrifice. Burl is so cheap he makes Ebeneezer Scrooge look generous by comparison. The dog dish may be referring to Snoopy’s role as a Santa Claus in the Charlie Brown cartoons. lol

They must have remodeled. Recently they decided to have the TV in the window rather than the tree, but here we see that the window is large enough for both! Can’t find that candy cane, SS.

The “find it” is a patch of blue. It is right under the word “sacrifice” .

Maybe it is a DOUBLE find-it!!! The first find-it is to find the differently placed “Find-It” at the bottom. THEN…. the second find it is to find the candy cane associated with the found “Find-It” phrase! Yeah! DOUBLE FIND-IT!!!!!!!++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Even though I suspect it may be more like Susan suggests (it was a left-over “Find-It”, I think it is fun to think of it as a double find it day. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++As always, Julie, thank you for the gift of your comedic talents. “Dinette Set” is something I look forward to daily!

I was thinking the big candy cane was the pole for the stop sign…. which was standing in the living room. But maybe Debbie’s right and it’s in the window.
