I knew some Jehovas Witnesses a few years back. No blood transfusions…Christmas is not for us…alcohol is bad….Homosexuality is wrong. They drank, two brothers were Gay, they didn’t give Christmas presents but would would accept them….and when one of them had an accident on his motorbike; he had a blood transfusion..The Salvation Army are purists compared to them.

Salvation Army is my choice too. But the Red Cross despite its flaws does some good work. There are many dedicated volunteers

The Salvation Army actively campaigns against gay rights, so I would never support them.
