I have both, love both. This should be cute. A good dog properly introduced to new kittens learns to get along just fine with them.

They’ll all be ‘sleeping in a heap’ in no time.

I have 5 dogs to go with my 3 cats. I keep telling the cats I’m a dog person, but they never believe me

Sophie is so gentle and loveable. Which means the cats are going to take over the place.

Our barn cats go to the dog’s dog house and sleep with him.

You’ve got a baby and a rambunctious puppy in a new home, and now you’re throwing two kittens into the mix? Do you not know the way cats and dogs react by default? I love kittens, but Doug’s parents must be gluttons for punishment.…It occurs to me that “kittens” can refer to the young of rabbits, rats, and other non-cats.

I read Brians Blog,, The cats are a real part of their life now,, they live in the barn and Sophie tries “take care of them” in the mothering way,, not killing way.

@simpsonfan2I’ve had cats and dogs for most of my adult life. I’m a cat and dog person. Actually, an animal person. Making assumptions about people and their pet preferences is not a good idea.

My mom loved cats (so I lived with them while young) but I have ALWAYS been a bird person. I HATE when surveys ask only about cats and dogs! Birds (especially larger ones) have the greatest personalities, are so loving and if cared for properly smell lovely. I can’t say the same for others!

My lab loves the newest kitty in the house and kitty apparently believes Sandy is his mother! They get along really well, but then I think Sandy thinks the cats are small dogs………….

One kitten – Sophie is in charge. Two kittens? – Sophie won’t be able to fight the purrrrrr. .My friend has two dogs. One flirts with the ladies, hates men. The beagle on the other hand, thinks anything on four legs is another dog.
