It seems Phoebe still hasn’t learned of the mystical power of glue and/or duck tape!

Mares are never subtle and they always play to win. The boys are easier to please and not as complex. The friendship of a mare must be earned, but will be deep and eternal once it is won.

Yah Phoebe got the meaning of the leaf! Also four leg warmers…by the time Marigold gets to Christmas she’ll be hard to fill stockings for. What do you buy a unicorn for Christmas any how?

Actually “duct tape.” Also known as “90-mile-an-hour tape,” depending on where you are.

Or, as we call Duct Tape out here in the West – Arkansas Welding Rod.

Duct/duck. Where I worked there was a notation on the log sheet that they had to shut the unit down to clean the ’ducks"

Everything works better with clean ducks. Anyway, if I was buying a present for a unicorn, I might get her some high end horn polish.

Actually, it’s “duck tape”. “Duct tape” was made up later to sound more serious and businesslike. It isn’t even very good for ducts.

All I hafa to say boss is why a Duct why no a chicken? and if you get that reference the duct will come down and give you $100. But enough of my wise quacks. Your here for the jokes. There’s nothing like a good joke and what I just said was nothing like one.

But now any catharsis Phoebe might feel to her anxieties due to the changing season by witnessing the fall of the final leaf has been denied to her, and I wouldn’t blame her at all if she developed a certain sense of indignity towards the culprit.

    …..

(Sigh) You’re not gonna say it, are you Rain?

In the UK they call it “gaffer tape.”

Gaffer’s tape is something completely different from duct tape. It’s usually black, not shiny. It’s not gummy and thus is easily removed. It’s used in theaters and studios to temporarily seal stuff to the floor/stage, like electrical cords and throw rugs, so people don’t trip over them. There are other uses, and it’s not often found in hardware stores..
