It’s a scam I tell you. They guilt you into giving money every single time you go then they use it for themselves! (tongue firmly in cheek ;)
I hate shopping in December for that very reason. I donate to my own charities. The Salvation Army is not one of them.
The Salvation Army is one of the few HONEST charities and they do lots of good for people who desperately need help…they take very very small salaries, as opposed to some of the bigger ones who REALLY do rob people…..
And a portion of what you give is sent to the commissary funds of murderers on death row. Typically $50 a month. Truth.
