Kids are too dumb to know what to do with leftover cranberry sauce.

Personally, I think it makes an excellent bisque if heated to a rolling boil, allowed to cool and left on ice.

I LOVE cranberry sauce. I’ll eat it straight from the can. I’d rather throw away ice cream than good cranberry sauce.

I love the idea. However, I make a killer cranberry sauce which my kids have loved since they were little. We never had any leftovers.

Cranberry sauce is supposed to look pretty. It doesn’t do that too well. And beyond that it does nothing.

If you aren’t eating a chunk of turkey with a forkful of stuffing and cranberry sauce, you don’t know what you’re missing!

If you don’t like cranberry sauce, or liver or lutefisk, just don’t eat it. There’s no need to harangue those who do like it. They probably think your brand of beer tastes like a mare’s pregnancy sample.

Canned cranberry sauce is kind of unappealing. But if you make it from actual cranberries, it looks nice and tastes awesome.

Never tasted the stuff. I couldn’t force myself to look past the gelatinous can-shaped blob sitting in the serving dish.

A cup of sugar, a cup of water (or orange juice if you’d rather), a 12 oz bag of cranberries, boil one minute. I’ve never understood why people settle for the canned-slinky version.

My father-in-law HAD to have cranberry suace, with real cranberries, every Thanksgiving. I always liked it, until the year he tried a recipe with horseradish added. He wouldn’t eat his own creation!

Scrapple is a good thing too, provided you don’t read the ingredient list.

I can only assume those who relish(!) canned cranberry sauce have never had homemade. I used to like the canned stuff (as a kid) until I had homemade as an adult. The only argument I have with those who prefer homemade is: does orange belong in it? I definitely vote yes! My wife makes it, and it is awesome!
