    A farmer friend of mine breeds 3 legged turkeys coz his wife loves drumsticks. I asked him what they taste like. He didn’t know…hasn’t been able to catch one yet !

    they are hoping to release GMO salmon soon (if they haven’t already), but that’s the only sort of animal I know of that might be GMO. Yes, I know it’s a fish. Otherwise the rest of the GMO food is grain, (corn, soy, canola), sugar beet, alfalfa and if I recall correctly, squash. There may be others by now.

    But GMO is a long way from the traditional practise of selective breeding, treesareus. And both the RoundupReady and Bt crops are failing their task – We now have super weeds resistant to Roundup, and the corn root borers which Bt corn was invented to defeat have also become resistant.

    For a lot of reasons, GMO crops are bad news. And at the very least, if they are so great, why on earth don’t Monsanto and their friends want to label them and brag about them? What are they hiding?
