Clayton, surely you know what a wart is. Did you think “thwart” was an accepted variant, a malapropism, or the result of a bizarre speech impediment? And did you think the bullies got hexed with a plague of warts?

My canoe has a broken thwart. I don’t know, but if I had one in my knee, it’d be a long time before I could stand.
