Wow, take off the tinfoil hat. Obama is busy handing America over to his foreign masters, and this is the best you can come up with?

question from a canadian. IF and I am saying IF, the electoral college picks the president, then why spend all the time and money asking the people for their vote. In canada the people vote (not enough by the way) and the guy or gal with the most votes gets the job. For Better or worse. I mean not enough people get out and vote. you only get one vote, even if you vote for the loser. which most politicians are. politics. two words, poli meaning many tics meaning blood sucking animals. go figure

Obama won by three million votes, 73,858 in Florida, and by 126 votes in the electoral college. I would call that a landslide.

Poor folks spend money, whatever the source. Their spending creates jobs. Individually they have little impact, but collectively they matter.

They also pay sales taxes on most of their purchases…the preceding also applies to the much-mligned “public employees”.

Finally, their kids make up most of our military forces. EVERYBODY wins when the system is more just, and the safety net is dense.
