Cleanliness, ventilation, food storage, personal hygiene and bowel gas. Just another day on the wrong side at Ma’s.

Oh! This is actually a glimpse into one of Burls recurring nightmares.

He hates to eat corned beef, cos he knows it’ll make him dream that night… … always of re-living this day.

It actually happened several years ago, before Ma lived in the senior residence.

In the next scene, he opens the “old milk” cupboard…and wakes up screaming…

For a Find-It…. you can have your choice of whatever’s in the Food too high to reach" cupboard.

If you find something that expired before 1982, don’t open it.Please.

The only thing better than the smell of corned beef & cabbage is the taste of corned beef & cabbage.

My grandparents house always smelled like bacon and garlic; except when they were baking bread and kolachky.

Old milk in a cupboard? Ew. What does she intend to use it for? We made corned beef and cabbage once. It was enough to feed a small army for two days. I can understand why the kitchen would still smell like it a week later. lol

Burl is mistaken. Ma’s house doesn’t always smell like corned beef and cabbage. It Ma that always smells like corned beef and cabbage. She’s like a ninja – silent but deadly.

Cabbage smells bad only if you overcook it and release all those sulfides.

I’ve noticed that all of the homes the Pennys frequent seem to have unmatched cabinet knobs and pulls.

Even now while temps are OK to have doors open for fresh air, my house usually smells of whaterer I’m cooking. I cooked dry beans and then fresh strings last Monday (had some with a RB sandwich today) but now house smells of oranges (time to slice them up -should be cool enough for my fingers by now. Just need to check a few more cartoons.
