Despite it being rainy (not cats and dogs) yesterday afternoon, I was okay talking a walk to the grocery store; it’s only a half hour’s walk or so.

They must live here in Missouri! It could be 75 degrees during the day, & within hours, it could drop to below freezing!

I can’t believe two grown adult females huddling on a couch like two immature kids! What is this world coming to??

I was thinking of going out to the “Turkey Shoot” (outdoor archery event) today, but it’s chilly this morning and I’d rather stay inside too. Would be good to get out and see the gang, but my archery skills are less than stellar anyway.

I agree – I love rainy, stormy days because it gives me an excuse to get cozy at home. Otherwise, I’ll feel obligated to go do some errands.

If you have a home, and power, be grateful, and think of all those who lost their home, or are still without power.

I saw all three of those happen in one day when I was in the Air Force in South Dakota. In the afternoon we got a hail storm (think Grapefruits and Softballs). After the hail was done we got a terrible rain and wind storm, that night it snowed.

Nice sitting by a cozy fire. I live central part of state, we need that rain bad here. Lakes, farm ponds, trees are dying away. We do not live on a farm just by driving by so sad.

Notice that Wally isn’t in the picture. Maybe he’s at work? Or maybe during a storm it’s not supposed to be manly to want to snuggle in front of a nice warm TV.

Isn’t that standard-issue weather in the Pacicfic NorthWet? I met a lovely lady from Salem yesterday; she didn’t seem to be showing any ill effects from the weather. :)

Funny that, though I know intellectually that Oregon has thunderstorms, the type of weather that I remember from my time (years ago) of living there is unending day after day of light drizzle. I now live in Missouri, in the Ozarks foothills, and starcandles is right about the sudden changes we get here from time to time.
