here’s some news for you climate change worriers…God built in earth weather/climate cycles…it goes from ice age to jungle age….warmer weather could be good for farming areas not now farmed…to produce food and fiber for good use for humans. P.S. passing big spending big government big “projects” won’t stop the cycles…..it will only help marxists gain control of governments…..to change the Land of Opportunity and Better Living to retrograde communist slum societies. Think East Berlin. Think Moscow stores with very little on the shelves to sell. Think topdown poverty for all but the governing elite.(I vote NO—-no government “solutions” that cause worse problems, historically)

Howie, your climate change ignorance was out of date twenty years ago. It’s past just stupid and ignorant now, it’s downright offensive in the face of such death and destruction. Educate yourself. Your entire “conservative” movement is becoming irrelevant because you simply don’t accept facts as facts, and it’s becoming clear to every rational person in this country.

I really think that as disappointing as it was to not see the climate issue come up, and Sandy is a good reason why it SHOULD have, I think the reason was that given how the “whack doodles” went after “Benghazi”, the distraction of actually addressing any issue requiring intelligence would have “lost” too many of the public.

Gavin Schmidt: Statements Made On Fox By Bastardi Are “Nonsense,” And “Simply Ignorant.” In a point-by-point rebuttal to multiple statements made in the past by Bastardi, NASA climatologist Gavin Schmidt used the words “nonsense,” “simply ignorant,” “completely wrong,” “handwaving,” “very odd,” and “based on nothing.” Schmidt concluded that presenting Bastardi as an expert on climate change is “about as credible as someone claiming to be an expert on the Greenland ice sheet because they eat ice cream.” [Email to Media Matters, 8/16/11]……………………………..Bastardi frequently appears on CNN and Fox News, arguing against anthropogenic global warming and looking as though he’s about to burst out of his shirt like Bruce Banner. He’s debated Bill Nye the Science Guy on The O’Reilly Factor and gotten into a "Science Catfight " with Brenda Ekwurzel, a climatologist at the Union of Concerned Scientists, on The Colbert Report. Until earlier this week, he was the “Chief Long Range Forecaster” for AccuWeather, a weather-forecasting service based in State College, Pennsylvania. But his bread and butter, he says, are his corporate clients, the names of which he won’t divulge, saying only that he’s “heavily involved in energy. Some of the companies that I work for were very happy that it snowed as much as it did this winter.” [Vanity Fair, 2/24/11]…………………………………http://mediamatters.org/research/2011/08/17/why-is-fox-going-to-joe-bastardi-for-climate-ch/183022
