lol I see there is a bird on the table. I guess Pilsner didn’t attend. Somehow I really doubt that was what was served. Probably venison.

Burdock root is called goboh in Japan, and is very tasty cooked any number of ways. (It is pretty high fiber, though.)

@Suzanne, turkey is native to North America, and there is actually a high probability that it was on the menu.

I’m with E.B. on this one. We haven’t had muskrat and burdock root chowder at Thanksgiving since Granny passed away.

not too sure about that muskrat. Can be a little to lively (especially with music). But the burdock should be good.
