She’s been a Flying Leatherneck for years.

Dear Eldo,How do you take a tiny ‘avatar’ picture and blow it up like that and have all that detail in it? I’d REALLY like to know how to do that, not to steal avatars but to be able to reconstruct small images in on-line web sites so I can use the image for my engineering things.

Neighbors were out in droves today…putting up white led lighted christmas trees, deer lit up by the same small led lights, icicle led lighted strings of light etc…and I went out and bought a couple of those deer myself…one really large (reminded me of a buck) a medium one and a small one to put next to it so that it looks like a mom and her fawn…and yes, I put them out on the other side of the lawn from the 60 ft high pine but I wont be lighting them until Thanksgiving evening along with the humongous pine tree…I always go driving during the season to see the lights, both here in our small town, and in the town where I go to shop and see the Christmas train all lit up….by then the snow will be pretty deep and all the lights against the white snow is so gorgeous to me…btw, my avatar pic is one that a neighbor took just outside of town here…he is a wild and wily scamp…refuses to be hunted! (cant blame him either)

American women are spoiled rotten, they NEED more ‘Andy Capps’ to appreciate American men!

Back when I worked in San Francisco, a Latvian friend of mine told me about a joke/story that was fairly common in Europe back then.

Two Germans meet on the street. The conversation goes like this:

Hans: “Hello Fritz, how are you?”
