It’s like someone deeply Texan speaking with someone deeply Bostonian.It sounds unfamiliarly similar.

The Birds was certainly not boring-also the Hammer Dracula films so “we guys” who are horror fans, Russell, don’t find English horror films boring. The reruns of Hitchcock half hour shows are still on late night cable tv and are fun too. But we Americans have made some truly terrific horror films like “The Shining” and “The Haunting”, Shirley Jackson’s story (not the remake). I do,however, find Soccer boring. Bucky’s bloody liver in a pool would probably make a good one too.

Alfred Hitchcock was great. He didn’t use a lot of violence. It was mostly implied. If you ask people about the shower scene in Psycho they will say that they see her being stabbed, when in fact it’s not in the movie.

A number of Brit soccer teams are owned by Russian businessmen; I daresay they describe their teams as ‘horrorshow’.

I think he should work in Sox vs Liverpool FC just to rile up rob.

I do CC (captions) at times when watching British shows. It helps me understand the dialog better.
