It’’s the nerd in her. She can’t help it. I correct everyone’s spelling when I get emails. I can txt shorthand txt, but an email gives you time to spell whole words. She’s just a nerd at heart.

The Luann of the early strips couldn’t even have pronounced “plural words rhyming with singular…” never mind use them properly in a sentence… our little Luann is truly growing up!

Luann is suffering from the greatest compulsion that ever was. It sounds like Quill is not happy with the status quo and wants to ramp things up – otherwise he’d be happy to stay in the friend zone. I’ll be very interested to see where this goes.

Well, on the bright side, Leviticus’s ancient wish may be fulfilled soon. Delta and Bernice are exactly who she’d tell first about being serenaded.

I like the way Luann analyzed the lyrics for compatibility and correctness.

Nah – I disagree on the Gunther/Luann attraction. Gunther has (and always will) have some affection for Luann.Luann, however, considers Gunther a good friend and would not appreciate it if he made a move on her.I think Luann really does like Quill, but is somewhat paralyzed by fear of making a fool of herself if her affection is not reciprocated; thus plays it cool.

Luann needs a filter between her brain and her mouth.
