The only polls that matter are the ones in November.

I just hope that no matter what happens in the debates, we do not end up with Romney as POTUS

@masterskrain…..I feel like this 2012 campaign began in January 2009……I am sick, sick, sick of the phone calls and tv ads and the TOTAL OBSESSION of the cable 24/7 “news”…I have to go to foreign sources for America’s regular news…Reuters, BBC, Jerusalem Post, etc.-I think Rush has it correctly….the polls can be designed to get the result the pollsters want, and they use “opinion polls” to SHAPE THE NEWS. Also to SKEW THE NEWS.

p.s. I think pollsters wanted a “neck and neck” horse race, and the closer it gets to actual Vote Day, they may worry about their earlier polls where they loaded up to 10% more Democrats polled than GOP/Independents….they have a “reputation” to maintain to sell more polling next election!

Kill your TV, shred the incoming junk mail from politicians.

    You’ll be happier, like me.

The Republicans began their campaign in November, 2008. They didn’t wait until January ’09 to start their attacks, lies, and obstructions.

I, for one, don’t believe for a second that “the polls” have any significance on the outcome of the election. .A sample of (what?) 350 to 500 voters nationwide is supposed to represent what the remainder are thinking?.I think not.

The American people deserve elected officials who represent the needs of the majority…not 51%, not 60%, We need officials who will put argumentative issues aside in order to fix the things a real majority of people are want done. 70%. It is my opinion both parties cater to a minority of special interests while giving lip service to 70%. Not only at the presidential level, but at EVERY level of government, from President to judgeships to dog catcher.Even dogs deserve better than the government this non bipartisan legislature is giving us.Respectfully,C.
