Ah, politics! Whichever side we voted on, red or blue, we can take comfort in knowing that we are among the absolutely correct half standing against the hopelessly wrong half…

Did Skeezix swallow a thesaurus?

Skeezix forgot ignorant.

Halloween is over, Thanksgiving is coming. Shouldn’t someone be out turkey hunting by now? They are still hunter/gatherers in Gasoline Alley, right?

So Skeezix doesn’t believe in ghosts. Fair enough. But if that passenger was a living person, he behaved very oddly. Why would he leave the coat on a gravestone? Why did he stay outside at all? And why would his mother say her son was dead if he isn’t? Senile? Or forgetful of her other son, who didn’t own the truck? Okay, possibly he was a long-lost prodigal son, returning after hearing about his brother’s death, a bit shy to go in once he finally got home. Or could it be some elaborate hoax, selling a “haunted” truck in the hope that the buyers will return it and accept less than they paid?

I give. What does “benighted” mean?

You may be right — since he agreed to look after people like you for another four years!
