I don’t think the strip is about “women” just because she’s female….It would work with a man if he depended on an invisible plane…. or boat or whatever…In fact, Brewster Rockitt would be first in line with a cartful.Reminds me of when cartoon ghosts get caught in laundry or drapes….

Forgot to say…. I magnified this a lot and the only thing I can figure out for “costing”, “casting” or whatever is that it might say “Cost Inc.” as a sort of play on Costco….But Costco doesn’t have handbaskets, or gallons of paint, it has Volkswagen chassis on wheels, and drums of mayonnaise.

And after working for Chevrolet for 30+ years, I can tell you a Geo Metro is, in reality, a “Suzuki Swift”.

When my partners and I had a 25% off sale in our little vintage clothing store (years ago) we used to hang a shirt with a missing collar and sleeve in the window.

And Night-Gaunt — what I’ve read was that it was supposed to be invisible, but the artists made it look “transparent” just so we readers could tell what it was up to.

Funny because Greeks aren’t known for making sound fiscal decisions.
