Yup. Definitely time to put in two weeks notice. Although, based on what Mr. Rod just said in that last panel, I wouldn’t even give him the notice.

Hope Baldo does some networking because he should could use a connection for a better job.Then maybe he could get his romance going. It is hard to romance a girl when you are her boss. Doctortoon thanks for reminding me of that saying. Did not know it was called the Peter Principle

farren says: Joey’s been at his maximum incompetence level for some time I absolutely agree! Mr. Rod knows how to speak in Spanish and his sign for his Auto shop looks almost in Spanish. My suggest is that Baldo needs to quit and move on or Joey has to be laid off because he is a brown nose!

Except for one thing: that isn’t the Peter Principle. It doesn’t say that the least competent person is promoted or that businesses try to find the job at which a person is least competent. It says they promote the MOST competent person UNTIL they become incompetent. The Peter Principle assured you that even though your boss was an idiot, (s)he used to be able to do something.
I agree this is much more a case of never being irreplaceable.
