Chavez isn’t about Communism, he’s about grabbing onto and holding power with a death grip. It was obvious soon after he was first elected. I doubt his reelection is a surprise to any but the most ignorant.

The Obama administration actually congratulated Hugo Chavez on his recent victory! Why doesn’t it surprise me that our Socialist Tyrant would be happy to see another Socialist Tyrant hold on to power through dishonesty and corruption?
Just look at the typical far left Hollywood drone, Sean Penn, who thinks Hugo Chavez is the greatest man on Earth! Liberals seem to have no problem with far left dictators- I remember reading about how many in the American left absolutely loved Stalin and thought the Soviet Union was some Workers’ Paradise back in the 1930’s and 1940’s- even beyond that.
