MItt did turn in the most fantastic performance I’ve ever seen, from any politician. “Tricky Dick” wouldn’t have begun to insult people’s intelligence with such a pack of absolute lies, flip-flops, and gall. The Republicans, media, and bloggers, must not have seen a single one of his speeches, or the primary debates, to even BEGIN to believe such a load.
I didn’t see it live and haven’t finished listening to the recording. But the whole President by popularity contest is the real problem. The Founding Fathers got a lot of things right (the compromise they hammered out could be considered a miracle), but they were wrong about trying so hard to avoid political parties. Obama wasn’t in top form. It must be hard playing “vote for me, I’m wonderful” when you have a day job.http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/07/world/middleeast/syria.html?ref=world&_r=0
OMG, a politician lying. Where are my heart pills! Thank goodness, Obama has been a true saint, and never ever told a lie, stretched the truth, prevaricated…..
History proved that reducing tax rates can provide increased IRS revenue…..check gov’t numbers on Reagan’s term…lowering the super-high tax rate on “the rich” caused different behaviour by the “rich” who had protected their money during high rate times, and when Reagan’s rates took effect, the “rich” began using their idle $s to do more investing and that increased economic activity all across the board…thereby raising revenues to a historic new high of an annual $900 billion, plus, in the 1980s.-same deal in 1961 with JFK.
Folks need to pay more attention to what the Republican controlled House, and Republican “restricted” Senate have done. If Mitt gets in, the House stays in Republican control, and gain any more power in the Senate, I would predict a near total economic collapse within four months of the change in the White House, and the total destruction of everything America has built, conserved, and preserved for over 200 years.
The fact that Mitt would be the first “Total liar in chief”, with the brain of a walnut, smacked, cracked, and controlled by such as Adelson, Rove, Norquist, and Cheney, would be our biggest disaster, ever.
No. As usual you display your wanton refusal to understand plain English. I’d go further, but you’ve already been told by another “You are becoming more and more irrelevant.”
@harleyquinYou might want to check the New York Times. Paul Krugman (Nobel Prize) did the facts while Maureen Dowd (Pulitzer) did a good satire.
Mitt got a quick victory, but he forgot that in this game the judges are allowed to use instant replay, and his lies are getting the attention they deserve.
IMO the anti-Romney comrades have mud all over their lying faces.-http://www.weeklystandard.com/print/blogs/check-math-romneys-tax-plan-doesnt-raise-middle-class-taxes_653485.html?nopager=1-the website at the above url has 2 excellent articles showing how the leftwing “study” (partisan & based on false assumptions) that the Dems use to call a decent American a “Liar”…..gave a false “study” for political purposes in the effort to re-elect the worst president in history of USA.-“Princeton Economist: Obama Campaign Is Misrepresenting My Study on Romney’s Tax Plan”….article 1 dated 10/8/12 and article 2 “Check the Math: Romney’s Tax Plan Doesn’t Raise Middle Class Taxes”…10/3/12.

True. Wether or not it was due to bad strategy, or having his mind on other things he could have performed alot better.

It was simply a contest between Style and Substance.
Substance won, as it always does.
