There were moments when Romney sounded almost like a Democrat. He’s in favor of government regulations and he wants to keep Social Security secure, he wants to stop sending jobs overseas…. Then he would turn around and say something really bizarre… It was a strange performance. But it seemed to work. He’s the wrong person for the job, but he did perform well for one night, anyway. (And now, of course, he’s backing off from the 47% comment, even though a few days ago he said it wasn’t wrong, just badly expressed.)
Good comic! Romney is good at telling people what they want to hear. This time he just kept it general and didn’t confuse anyone with specifics or details. Although he will cut PBS.
No, if I were behind on my mortgage, I would count my blessings for PBS which will help my kids learn without inundating them with commercials for more and more things that they will hope mom can buy them(unlike Nickelodeon which will not help them improve their minds but will show them plenty of commercials for what mom can not afford to buy them). And, I would make that $20 pledge for giving my kids something I was unable to on my own.
