Odd, I’m now using electric space heaters to help save on propane.
Sounds like a hot idea to me.

Finally, an alternative internet! That ought to show those internet providers a thing or two and maybe they will finally lower their rates.
@MayKitten:a 300 MW steam turbine needs 7 1/2 hours from cold to synchronise the generator and close the circuit breaker. A 2-stroke diesel (much smaller though) 15 mins @11MW. A gas turbine 1/2 hour IIRC.
