PBS is the enemy of MItt and the right wing, because they simply report the facts, intelligently, with thought, which is of course, by definition: “liberal”.

PBS gets so little to begin with. Like the NEA it’s been a culture target for years. It’s another attempt to dumb down the society.

If only Lady Elaine Fairchilde had replaced Jim Lehrer as moderator.

Why yes, it can be, though that does not mean it should be.

There is a time and a place for everything and PBS is not needed for it’s original purpose. PBS cost us $422 million!

Ok, this is to those who oppose the cutting of federal funding to PBS. If people want it bad enough, they will continue to support it, or it will be forced to begin soliciting commercial sponsorship. We can use the monies we save to go towards more important things as was suggested by Romney, i.e. cutting the budget. But, why not just shove TV’s into the classrooms if it is such the great tool you suggest. and fund it with the money for the schools. That way we could cut down on the spending and we could get the best teacher from each subject to teach. Therefore no one could say their class has an unfair advantage over others, we would not have to worry about the teacher’s union, just have a monitor to watch the kids making sure they behave. That way it would be a fair share situation as Obama continues to require the country to become. This sounds stupid doesn’t it? But so does your argument. Get out your wallets instead of telling the government to take care of it.

PBS contributes to the education of children and therefore must be eliminated..Fits right in with the liberal mindset of lack of personal responsibility for their children.

I don’t know why you thought the need to call me names as I said nothing to deserve it. You need to look at what I said. Pulling the funding will not cause PBS to fail. Big Bird will not have to leave his nest on Sesame Street. That is what the liberals and media want people to believe. The Corporation behind Sesame Street have and continue to bring in so much money from their toys, clothing and other merchandise they sell that they themselves could keep PBS on the air. No one wants PBS to fail as you would suggest with how you came accross. I was just making the point I just gave you. This argument and misleading media mistruth is being done to hurt Romney as they have nothing else to use to try and make him look like wants to hurt the family.
