One of the most important lessons they teach at the Point is how to LOSE the next battle. Step one: Waste time whining, making excuses and licking wounds.
Whose brain did they give him? Now he’s on Hannity saying he was wrong about the 47%! How soon does Rush’s head explode trying to defend THIS flip-flop?
I keep saying that Republicans are not racists, that opposing Obama is not racism. And then Zoidknight comes up with a remark like that and undoes all that effort.
I can see why you are a trusted mechanic. And I think you nailed it. Personally I think that Romney at heart is more the sort of person that he presented at the debate than the right-wing caricature he has been on the campaign trail. Frankly, I don’t think these two Ivy-League guys are all that much different. But one comes carrying the Democratic Party with him, and the other the Republican Party, and that baggage makes all the difference. David Brooks thinks this new compassionate, moderate, pragmatic, bipartisan Romney is the real deal. Praising Obamacare (if a state does it, but not if the nation does it), declaring his willingness to sit down with Democrats and make deals across the aisle, etc. I see no evidence that Romney, in office would really be like that, but I may be wrong.
Remember “Joe the plumber” during his fist campaigne? Also, does he not say that must all work and do our fair share for those who do not have? Is he not wanting to make it easier for those who need assistance to get it with his Obamacare. It becomes free for those who want to get on to welfare. There may not be alot of words to prove it, but as they say, actions speak louder than words. If you look how Romney has done in the business world and in his personal life with his generous charity giving and helping those in need.
I thought that may have been a part of it also, but he still should have tried harder. Just as being the President he must be ready to do what is needed regardless of what is going on in his personal life.

Actually, given events in Turkey and Syria, is it possible Obama might have been distracted by something more critical than “Mitt the twit”??

When Mitt makes him explain Benghazi-gate, Obama will be on the toilet seat in Jurassic Park. It will be sweet.

It is hard for Obama to flip-flop when he says he wants everyone to have equal amounts and so he must redistribute and give out things for free.

This is really funny! Ryan does resemble Eddie and Mitt does resemble Herman. But who’s Grandpa?
