The way Obama just sat there and took crap from Romney all night, looking tired and disinterested, reminds me of how the Democratic Senate reacted to Bush’s lies in the run-up to Iraq: with a combination of political fear and a lack of interest in calling out lies, distortions, etc..The Democratic party is void of necessary political aggression. If they have it, they should unleash it. But frankly, I don’t think they do.
