Yes. Obama wanted single-payer, but knew he couldn’t even propose it, so instead he proposed a nonprofit (but self-paying) insurance company backed by the government. The so-called free-marketers didn’t dare threaten the insurance industry by having, you know, ACTUAL competition (despite “private industry is more efficient than the government” bushwah), so he went with Romney’s plan, which was praised to the heavens by the GOP a few years ago.
Wow, yeah, the USA is exactly like the UK in all respects, except health care. And, now we will be identical. The whole world will no longer be able to tell us apart because our health care system will be exactly like England’s. oh no, People will now buy a ticket to New York or Los Angeles and will end up in London.
Wait…. I know where you’re talking about in those ceremonies – and that’s total BS..The “children in bed” section was about childhood nightmares from reading books, not about their health care system at all. I even recognized one that the announcer missed: The Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ..Do you put your words in other people’s mouths too?
