It’s hard to understand how Ryan’s record could ever be twisted to make him look like a deficit hawk.-He voted for both Bush tax cuts, Medicare part D, wars in Afghanistan, and even a Bush stimulus, NONE of which were paid for.-He also voted for the ‘sequestration’, but somehow claims he didn’t. -He’s not a hawk, he’s a deficit HACK. If there’s a Republican in the white house, deficits are just no big deal. If there’s a Democrat, those same deficits are the worst thing in the world, grounds for impeachment, and the ruination of us all.-He’s supposedly the big Republican budget wonk, but when his work is examined, his response is that Willard’s budget will be used, not his, even though Willard doesn’t have one. -When his numbers are questioned, he says, ‘Well, we haven’t run the numbers yet.’ Maybe some other ‘fiscal conservative’ can spell out the wisdom of making up a budget without ‘running the numbers’.

I love it! He says his voting record is not important because this is Romney’s campaign and they are running on Romneys platform, not Ryan’s. Doesn’t he know that we know that if they win, Ryan will just be one car elevator accident away from being president?

^ Boy, what an incredible defense of Ryan. You really refuted every criticism, point by point. -I guess next you will deliver a list of everything good and admirable about Ryan and the key reasons why he was chosen for VP candidate.

Ryan stood in front of a shuttered GM plant in his home town of Janesville, and pilloried Obama for its closure. Meanwhile, he voted against the bailout which possibly could have saved the plant (and GM itself). It turns out that the plant was slated to close during the primaries of 2008. The announcement of the closure was made in December 2008, before Obama took office.

I would be careful using Churchill’s name while accusing others of questionable praise.
