“Mastadon”? Is there a joke here that has escaped me, or do the cartoonists not know how to spell mastodon?
Once sent an email to a coworker. The spell check flagged his name as an error. About 75% of the alternates it offered were obscene. Had many of us in the office wondering about those who develop the algorithms for such stuff.
We spell it “Mastodon” in the modern English, but back in the day they spelled it " Mastadon".
Who drew this? It looks different.
I thought the mastadon was in the Mafia…
Back to the strip… It could be the start of a Tattoo parlor.
I didn’t know they lived in France
I thought back in the day they spelled it “Gronk!”
It’s the designer spelling.
