    I think the FE is for Frank & Ernest too. But since it’s readable to the viewer, and it’s the business side of the branding iron, the cow will have the letters “EF” AND they’ll be facing left instead of right!

    Plenty of brands are reversed letters. Ours has a reverse lazy J, for example. But it’s probably artistic license, to make it easier to read.
