run joe! i see a storm on the horizon. no reply would be correct. why is it men are always preceived to be in the wrong….even before the questionnaire. is it because with women there’s no right answer? Wiley, please quit changing which side everybodies on. you’re making me dizzy. one minute capt. eddie is on the corner with joe on the long end of the counter….next joe’s on the corner. what gives.

It’s because the perspective of the viewer changes. Everyone is still in the same spot relative to each other … or was that just a rhetorical question?

@ronaldmundy It has been said by others, but there’s nothing inconsistent about the drawings for the past several days – except which shoulder the cat is on.

Think about a U-shaped counter. Flo is in the center. Starting from her left and going clockwise: empty counter, corner, Eddie, Joe, corner, empty counter. Every single frame all week has been consistent with this description.

okay dtut, how can it be a u-shaped counter when it’s got corners? second, look at joe in the first panel…long counter to his left. look at the last panel…..corner is to his left. even if you change the perspective, the corner should end before the salt and pepper and the napkin holder as victoria walks in. to note, there is no salt and pepper or napkin holder in the last two frames. the perspective theory ends when you see capt. eddie on the end of the counter and two frames later joe’s at the end of the counter. it’s basic math.Wiley is toying with us, and so is victoria.

“even if you change the perspective, the corner should end before the salt and pepper and the napkin holder as victoria walks in” not exactly – we’re looking at a different counter ‘face’ as the ‘camera’ angle changes. Pay attention man, it is a counter with more than one face! (“U” shaped, but with sharp corners not rounded ones) Now as to playing with things, that clearly is what Victoria is doing, but then, it is often how these sorts of decisions get made – slowly one step at a time and before you realize it it is too late. (or just in time depending on your perspective!)

    THE MIRACLE OF TOILET PAPER

Fresh from my shower, I stood in front of the mirror complaining to my husband that my breasts are too small. Instead of telling me it wasn’t so, as he usually does, he uncharacteristically came up with a suggestion.

“If you want your breasts to grow, then every day take a piece of toilet paper and rub it between them for a few seconds.”

Willing to try anything, I fetch a piece of toilet paper and stand in front of the mirror, rubbing it between my breasts.

“How long will this take,” I asked.

“They will grow larger over a period of years,” my husband replied.

I stopped rubbing, and asked again, “Do you really think rubbing a piece of toilet paper between my breasts every day will make my breasts larger over the years?”

Without missing a beat he said, “Worked for your butt, didn’t it?”

He’s still alive, and with a great deal of therapy, he may even walk again, although he will probably continue to take his meals through a straw. Stupid, stupid man.

Why does everyone keep expecting the cat to always be in the same place in every panel? Obviously these are people who don’t spend too much time with cats.

It makes sense to complete the pre-marriage agreement questionnaire before the engagement. If it looks like the couple really is not compatible, then they can call it off before they make any legal commitments,

Warning! Lurker emerging into the light! Of course Wiley is playing with us. Or didn’t anyone else notice yesterday how the inside corner of the counter was square in panel 2 and rounded in panel 3 while Flo hasn’t changed position at all? Also from yesterday - notice Pauly in panel 2 is facing backward but in panel 3 where Flo beats Eddie to the punch line, he is still sitting with his back to us, but has turned his(/her/it’s?) head to look at Flo. Love that cat. Happy New Year all.
