On the farm, we never had problems with fussy cats. If they didn’t like what we fed them, they could go catch a rodent. And to their credit, they didn’t all turn up for the free food, they looked after themselves.I really don’t understand while people fret over pets not eating. Don’t feed them anything else and they will be OK. (Assuming they’re offered proper food, of course.)

Ok. Annie was taken to the hospital by her teacher. He was met there by one of Lila’s hysterical friends. Teacher is talking to friend, doctor is taking care of Annie and Lila is totally oblivious. No wonder Annie’s favorite past times include gambling and hacking.

@Roto13 Absolutely! I’m in, for a kickstarter. Another of my faves might have to shut down too, and the author is considering a kickstarter. cowandboy.com. Not enough to keep him going full time, but it’s a start! Anyway, John, no matter what you do I just want to say THANKS for the great times with Lila and co!

Why don’t they take artists and resources from worthless, decrepit strips like ‘Garfield’, ‘Marmaduke’, ‘Better or Worse’ and use them here?

Next time, just stick with tropical fish.

John (JWF) has got to take an evening course on drawing. He will never make it otherwise. There is no way you can afford to keep paying illustrators.

Fussy cats: My mom had one that wanted the expensive canned cat food. Mom tried mixing the pricey stuff with the cheap big can store brand. The cat managed to scarf up all the gourmet stuff and left the cheap food in the bowl.I had one that when I fed her the dry cat food that came in X and O shapes, she’d eat all the Xs and leave the Os. fortunately the other kitty in the house at that time wasn’t fussy and finished off the bowl of Os before eating the food in her own bowl.

I am going to miss Lila and Boyd and Annie and the afliliates….thats for damn sure…John, if you get a chance, please update us now and then…

Too bad the strip is ending, at least we get to see the reruns …. :"^{
