    When I was a kid, my dad was building our house, and we had to use an outhouse until he got the plumbing installed.I really would like some background to why that happened. It got awfully cold in the winter.

    At least she has “the little house outback”. Many, many moons ago when doing wilderness canoe trips we didn’t even have that. It was take the small camp shovel out with the tp, find a secluded safe place and dig a hole. Mosquito bites on the bum heal up quickly.

    when i was litle we use to visit my Great Grandfather on his farm….no indoor plumbing except a hand pump in the kitchen. there was a 2 door out house out by th barn.

    Thanks guys – missed the “Deliverance” refo. Never saw it y’see…I gather it was pretty heavy.

    Let’s hope the outhouse was built by The Specialist…
